Cheesy Chilli Tuna Melt

This is probably one of the best sandwiches that you'll ever make!


Cheesy Chilli Tuna Melt
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 small can (~185g) of tuna (Sirena Chilli In Oil Tuna recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise (Kewpie Japanese Style Mayo recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons of cooked sweetcorn
  • Chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon of Curious Elephant Vietnamese Chilli Sauce
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter


  1. Drain the tuna liquid
  2. Add the tuna to a bowl and stir in the sweetcorn, red onion, mayonnaise and Vietnamese Chilli Sauce
  3. Add salt and pepper
  4. Lay one slice of the bread into the grill and top it with a thick layer of the tuna mix and add grated cheddar cheese
  5. Add butter to outside of the top slice of bread and toast in grill
  6. Cook until the top slice is golden brown
