Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Chilli Bagel

A chilli twist on a classic bagel! 


  • 2 Seeded bagels
  • 150g of smoked salmon
  • 1 tablespoon of capers
  • 100g of cream cheese
  • Half a sliced small red onion
  • 1 avocado
  • Curious Elephant Chinese Chilli Oil


  1. Toast the bagel halves until golden brown
  2. Spread cream cheese evenly on the bottom side of each bagel
  3. Arrange the slices of smoked salmon evenly on top of the cream cheese with red onion, sprinkle over capers and finish off with a drizzle of the Chinese Chilli Oil
  4. Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately
  5. Optional: Add poached or fried eggs on top
