Stir Fry Chicken Udon Noodles With Chinese Chilli Oil

A curious twist on a traditional Japanese udon noodle dish!

IngredientsStir Fry Udon Noodles with Chinese Chilli Oil

  • Peanut or neutral oil
  • 500g of sliced chicken breast
  • 3-4 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
  • 3cm piece of ginger
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 packet of baby corns
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 125g of snowpeas or green beans
  • 460g of udon noodles
  • Curious Elephant Chinese Chilli Oil


  1. Heat a non-stick pan over high heat with oil
  2. Add chicken and fry until brown all over - set aside
  3. Slice vegetables
  4. Heat oil in pan, add garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds
  5. Add vegetables to the pan and cook until slightly tender
  6. Add udon noodles, cooked chicken and sweet soy sauce to the pan and cook for a further 1 minute
  7. Serve and drizzle a generous amount of Chinese Chilli Oil over the top
